August 21st, 2017 was a historic day for many parts of the U.S. as the solar eclipse made its way across the sky.
Despite the partial cloud coverage, Manitou Beach was lucky to witness about 82% coverage of the solar eclipse this afternoon. Peak time was around 2:25 pm EST for the area. This is the first time parts of the U.S. have had a full coverage solar eclipse in 99 years! Hopefully you were able to witness it! Here is a photo of some stages of the eclipse, captured by Enchanted Life Photography.
